Description

The Permanent Endowment Fund Committee was created to:​

• Support specific long-range programs of Galilee United Methodist Church
• Expand existing facilities as needed
• Support special projects
• Provide for continuing future ministry of Galilee United Methodist Church
• Establish a procedure for members of Galilee and others to provide monetary gifts and donations to sustain the church

The monies designated for the Fund cannot be used to support:

• Programs of the church regularly funded by pledges and contributions of members except in cases of extreme emergency, as determined by the Committee and the Church Council
• Political campaigns on behalf of any candidate for public office
• Propaganda or other attempts to influence legislation

The Committee meets quarterly, if needed.  Meeting date and time are determined by the committee.
